1. Introduction & Scope
Skydimo Co., Ltd. (“Skydimo”, “we”, “us”) designs lighting control software, hardware, and related cloud services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you interact with our websites, desktop or mobile applications, connected devices, and official support channels, why we collect it, and how we safeguard and share it. The policy applies to all visitors, trial users, partners, and customers worldwide.
By visiting or using any Skydimo service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and contact us for assistance. We review this document regularly and will post updates with a revised effective date.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum amount of personal data necessary to deliver reliable services. Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
Account and contact details. Information you provide when creating an account, requesting a quote, or subscribing to updates, such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, shipping details, preferred language, and country.
Device and technical data. Identifiers for connected controllers, firmware and driver versions, operating system details, language settings, crash reports, and network diagnostics generated by the software to maintain compatibility and security.
Usage analytics. Aggregated metrics about how often features are used, pages visited, module activation status, timestamps, and general location derived from IP (city/region only) to help optimize performance. We do not build individual behavioral profiles.
Support communications. Emails, chat transcripts, call recordings where permitted by law, attachments, and troubleshooting notes related to your requests so we can resolve issues and document outcomes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal data to:
Deliver services. Authenticate you, activate licenses, synchronize device presets, fulfill orders, and provide requested integrations.
Support you. Diagnose incidents, answer questions, schedule training, and deliver replacements when necessary.
Improve quality. Analyze aggregated usage to prioritize updates, localize content, and test new features.
Communicate important changes. Send transactional notices about security updates, policy changes, maintenance windows, or responses to legal requests. Marketing messages are sent only with your explicit consent and include opt-out links.
Protect safety and comply with law. Monitor for fraudulent or abusive behavior, enforce our Terms of Service, and meet regulatory obligations.
4. When We Share Data
We never sell personal data. We share it only in the following situations:
Service providers. Trusted vendors that host infrastructure, process payments, deliver email, provide analytics, or offer customer-care tooling under binding agreements requiring confidentiality and security.
Integrations you enable. Third-party platforms that you connect to your Skydimo account (for example, e-commerce marketplaces). We share only the data necessary to complete the integration and you can revoke access at any time.
Legal compliance. Authorities, courts, or regulators when we are legally required to respond or to protect rights, safety, or property.
Corporate transactions. In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring, provided the recipient agrees to safeguard your data in line with this Policy.
5. Data Retention & Security
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above or to comply with legal requirements.
Account profiles are stored while your account remains active and for up to 24 months after closure unless the law requires longer retention.
Support tickets and repair logs are kept for up to 36 months to honor warranty and safety obligations.
Diagnostic telemetry is stored in identifiable form for 12 months, after which it is aggregated or anonymized.
Skydimo implements technical and organizational safeguards such as encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, employee training, and regular security audits. Despite our efforts, no system is completely secure, so we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your software up to date.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Skydimo uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand aggregate usage patterns.
You can manage cookies in your browser or within relevant product settings. Rejecting functional cookies may impact essential features, while analytics cookies are optional and can be disabled without affecting core functionality.
